Elite Member Status:
Dealernet members that are denoted with a Gold Star have been certified as ELITE by Dealernet administrators and embody the best of the Dealernet community.
In addition to maintaining high metric scores, elite members are anticipated to be ambassadors of Dealernet at all times.
To qualify and and keep elite status, users must adhere to the following code of conduct:
- Represent the spirit of Dealernet, and strive to uphold all stated missions of Dealernet.
- Never undermine or disregard Dealernet policies.
- Take 100% responsibility for all account activity including communication and transactions.
- Act Professsionally at all times.
- Never willingly or unwillingly share or provide account access or any private information.
Basically, it should be clear that Elite is a status and not a membership option. Elite gold stars cannot be purchased or otherwise obtained. Elite status is not a right and accounts are reviewed daily to make sure that those members with gold stars are based on current activity, not what was in the past.
Elite members receive the following perks and benefits:
- approved to pay on receipt for all Dealernet transactions with 2 business days.
- automatically bonded for $10,000 aggregate coverage by Dealernet (see below for details)
- represented with a gold star on all listings and profile page
To be able to apply for and maintain elite status, users must meet the following standards (based on past 6 months of activity):

In addition, all elite members are required to complete a verification form including bank account with a completed ACH transfer (min $500), and provide references from 3 current elite members to verify recent transaction history indicating timely payments, shipments and responses to offers.
The elite application form is linked here and available for all vendor level members (send to Help Desk upon completion). The form will then be sent to Dealernet administrators for review. All elite member decisions are final and there is no stated guarantee implied regarding acceptance into the Dealernet elite program.
Dealernet ELITE Transaction Assurance Program:
Dealernet Transaction Assurance Program is offered exclusively on any transactions involving elite members (denoted with a gold star on all listings) in the event of non-payment/non-delivery default as long as the following conditions have been met:

All Elite Members (Gold star) with the Payment Assurance Badge on their profile page are eligible for payment assurance coverage.

All payments are made by and from Dealernet at the sole discretion of Dealernet. All decisions are final.
